Mount Hermon site

The Mt. Hermon tourist and recreation site is open year-round.

In the winter months, the site offers a variety of activities. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy a range of slopes from beginners to advanced. Lessons are available for all skill levels. Visitors to the site can choose from many exciting activities:  extreme sports such as the alpine coaster and the Skyrider high altitude chair lift, as well as snow sledding for children and other snow games for the whole family.

In the summer, the site offers free guided walking tours in the hills that were nicknamed “the eyes of the State.” Participants will learn about the local flora and fauna unique to the Hermon area and hear stories of bravery from Israel’s wars. Other summer activities include the alpine mountain coaster ride, the Skyrider chair lift, tubing down a plastic-covered slope, and off-road karting.
