Ein Yedidia Spring

Background: The pool at the Ein Yedidia spring was built by the students of the Hispin Yeshiva High School, in memory of Yedidia Tor z”l. Yedidia, their classmate from the village of Mitzpe Netofa, died in a tragic tractor accident at the young age of 18.

Description: The depth of the pool is about 1.5 meters, and the source of the water is the nearby riverbed. The water reaches the pool by a pipe, and the runoff returns to the riverbed. Near the pool are benches, a place for bonfires, and a shelter covered by a mulberry tree.

The pool has water all year-round, and it can be reached by a 4×4 vehicle, or by foot, from the entrance road to Moshav Yonatan.

Arrival: About 500 meters before the entrance gate of Moshav Yonatan, carefully park your car on the dirt road that is south of the street. Walk on the jeep road to the north for about 1 kilometer, until you reach a grove of trees on your right. To your right you will see a gate for pedestrians; go through it and close it behind you…and you are there
