El-Rom Fruit

At an altitude of over 1000 meters (about 3,500 feet), El-Rom is the highest site in Israel for picking your own fruit. Ten superb varieties of cherries grow in El-Rom’s five acres of orchards.

In addition to the experience of picking and eating some of the biggest, most delicious cherries in the country (in season), visitors can eat hot Druze pita bread in the shaded picnic grounds and enjoy other attractions. Be sure to take home a variety of fruit, such as cherries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
